Update: Added Location and Interior Pictures.
2004 F250. Good shape inside and out. Minor bubbling on cab corners, tear in driver’s seat, otherwise clean.
It’s a true bulletproofed 6.0 Powerstroke with 149k. Studded, EGR delete, Oil Cooler upgrade, New Harnesses, HPOP upgrade, Injectors, etc have all been done.
Receipts for all work, over $9k. Meticulously maintained.
S&B Intake, 4" DP Back Exhaust, Warn Lockers, Powerstop Brake Kit.
2 sets of wheels.
We have no need for a truck anymore, so she needs to go to someone who does.
Asking $11,000 obo.
Located just North of Madison, Wisconsin.
Only visible wear on the interior
Bottom of door bubbling, only visible inside the door.
UPDATE: Sold her this weekend. Now the search for a cheap car/van begins!

any interior shots? and what do the other wheels look like

I got half a 12z can of red bull, $4.76 in mostly nickels, a 2009 impala with 106k on it and I’ll throw in a broken fishing reel. Deal?

One of them actually resides on the rear currently and can be seen in the passenger rear shot. One of the nice wheels got wrecked by a local tire shop and got found when I had the new tires installed.
I can grab some interior shots when I get home tonight or shoot me a text 608-212-eight2nine4.

Yes it is on CL as well.
“ Will you trade for an 09 F150?”
Yes because that will help me get out of a truck?!?!?

NP!

Mismatched wheel. Hmm.

Tire shop that did the previous set of tires ended up cutting the wheel trying to get the tire off. I happened to have one of those in the bed for a spare at the time, so they put the new tire on that wheel.
I finally found a matching wheel like 2 months ago and figured I’d just run it as is until I got new tires again. :/

I hate the term ‘Bullet Proofed’. It is one of the most misused terms out there. Was it taken to Bullet Proof Diesel in Arizona? That’s a true bullet proofing because they invented the process. Most people claim the term but does it have EGR, head studs, and oil cooler?! Maybe a FICM, water pump, and the bypass oil cooler?! Sorry. I am not upset at you. Just that this term is so prevalent. Why not describe what has been done instead of ‘Bulletproof’?!

I can’t afford it but where in the world is it?
![]() 08/24/2018 at 22:22 |

Because he had all of that done too the truck. Even had heads machined
Bulletproofing now for 6.0s is known as Studs,
headgaskets, EGR delete or replaced, oil cooler if it needs it and FICM update.

Then he is one of the few, the proud, the bulletproofed.

NP.

Its pretty common now days for bulletproofing to include all those things. Most all shops that are worth anything have the system down.

I see people frequently claim it but don’t have it all done. Not everyone knows what it should mean.

Because bulletproof is the term for a 6.0 that’s had all the 6.0 issues corrected.
Why type out everything when people in the know on 6.0s know what it means?
In this instance:
Machined heads, head gaskets, studs.
EGR delete.
Oil cooler upgrade.
HPOP upgrade.
Water pump.
Upgraded FICM.
Upgraded injectors.
All the other stuff I can’t remember off the top of my head, hence why Bulletproofed is a far easier way to get the point across.

lol
“Will you trade for something newer” always means, “Will you trade for something worse that looks better only on paper to a child”

Looks great, and should be a good truck for someone out there - I would think there are plenty of buyers up your way - good luck and NP!

I’ll trade you a 2008 Po
ntiac G6 with 115000 miles on it... (not holding my breath)

I’ll pass. Unless it’s a GTP 4 door with a manual, then I may consider it.
![]() 08/27/2018 at 16:47 |

it’s got the 4 doors... missing 2 cyl. and the manual option.
![]() 08/27/2018 at 17:30 |

Hard pass then, I don’t really need a 3rd vehicle, but if something interesting gets offered I won’t necessarily shoot it down.

It has made for a decent DD for the past....8 or 9 yrs.
I’m trying to justify to myself picking up your truck AND keeping the minivan that has no issues. A road trip to Madison
makes it all the more tempting.

Replace the van with the truck.

That’s.....a good deal.

Everyone says so, but it seems no one actually wants to pay that.

It seems in line with similar models in my area. Could be a 6.0 thing. People seem to love the 7.3 over it.
![]() 10/04/2018 at 16:36 |
|
It’s in line/low for my area.
A lot of people are still scared of 6.0s, even though the majority on the road today have had the issues already sorted.

NP. I wish I were in the market, that is a lot of truck for 11 grand.

I can't believe it took that long! I wish I could have bought it, but the timing wasn't right for me.
